what does this mean?!
GLORIA, GLORIA, GLORIA A DIOS!!!!

Once upon a time, a dad named Mr. Rosales had a three-year-old son named Brandon.
One day, Brandon sees his dad eating chocolate chip cookies(YUMMY FOR YOUR TUMMY!) in the living room and says to himself, "Daddy loves chocolate chip cookies with milk. So I'm going to give Daddy a glass of milk!" With that thought Brandon goes into the dining room and drags a chair from the dining room into the kitchen, leaving a trail of scratch marks on the floor. (uh, oh...)
Brandon climbs up on the chair and climbs onto the counter to pull open the cabinet door.
"W H A M !"
The cabinet door smashes against the next cabinet door, leaving a giant scratch where the handle hit it. Brandon reaches for a glass, accidentally knocking two other glasses off the shelf (uh, oh!).
CRAAAAASH!TINKLE! TINKLE!
But Brandon doesn't care. He's thinking, "I'm going to get Daddy some milk!"
Meanwhile, Brandon's dad is watching all this, wondering if he should step in and save the rest of his kitchen from Brandon's mess. Mr. Rosales decides for the moment, to watch a little more as Brandon jumps off the chair, moves around the pieces of broken glass, and heads for the refrigerator.
Slamming open the refrigerator door, Brandon throws it wide open- and it stays open, of course. Brandon puts the glass on the floor - out of harm's way, maybe - and grabs, not the little half gallon of milk, but the big gallon container that is full of milk. He rips open the top, pours it on the floor near the glass, and even manages to get some milk into the glass. The rest lies in a puddle all over the floor!    OOOOOPS!
Finally done, Brandon puts the milk carton on the floor and picks up the glass yelling,
"Daddy, I got something for you!"
He runs into the living room, TRIPS, AND SPILLS MILK ALL OVER THE PLACE - THE FLOOR, THE SOFA,  A N D H I S   D A D ! ! ! (OH! OH!)
Brandon stands up and looks around. He sees broken glass, milk everywhere, cabinets open, his dad with milk from his eyebrows to his toes, and starts to cry. Through his tears, he looks up at his dad with a painful expression that says,
"What are you going to do to me?"
His dad only smiles. He doesn't see a kid that just destroyed his house. Instead he sees a beautful little boy whom he loves very much. It doesn't matter what he's done. Brandon's dad stretches his arms out to hold his little boy tight and says, "THIS IS MY SON!!!"

Kids, when we talk about God as our Father, the kind of father we're talkng about is like Brandon's father. God is a Father who loves us, even though we make a real mess of things. Jesus told a story like this - about another son who messed up. We call the story "The Prodigal Son" ("El Hijo Prodigal") - ask your parents about this story...it's great! Anyway, it also could be called "The Story of the Loving Father", because, just like Brandon's dad, the Father in the story of The Prodigal Son threw His arms around His son and said, "This is My son!" (See Luke 15:32.)

THE BIG ROCK
THE BIG ROCK
A little boy named Issac was spending his Saturday morning playing in his sandbox. He had with him his box of cars and trucks, his plastic pail, and a shiny, red plastic shovel.
While he was making roads and tunnels in the soft sand, Issac discovered a large rock in the middle of the sandbox. The poor boy dug around the rock, but all he moved was the dirt around the rock. With great effort, he pushed and nudged the rock across the sandbox by using his feet. (Issac was a very small boy and the rock was very large.) When the boy got the rock to the edge of the sandbox, he found that he couldn't roll it up and over the little wall.
Determined, the little boy shoved, pushed, and tried, but every time he thought that he made some progress, the rock tipped over and then fell back into the sandbox. Issac grunted, fought pushed, shoved-but his only reward was to have the rock roll back, smashing his fingers. Finally he burst into tears of hurt.
All this time the boy's father wqatched from the living room window. When Issac's tears started to fall, a large shadow fell across the boy and the sandbox. It was Mr. Rosales, the boy's father. Gently but firmly he said, "Son, why didn't you use all the strength that you had available?"
Defeated, the boy cried out, "But I did, Daddy, I did! I used all the strength that I had!"
"No, son," corrected the father kindly. "You didn't use all the strength you had. You didn't ask me."
With that the father reached down, picked up the rock, and removed it from the sandbox.

Are you having a hard time right now? Can you do something to change it? If you can, do not wait another day - make the changes!!! BUT if you cannot change the things that are happening around you, then change your attitude - you will discover that your situations won't have the last word. You will have the last word!

The Greatest Hitter In The World
The Greatest Hitter In The World
Once upon a time, a little boy was talking to himself as he walked in his backyard, wearing his baseball cap and carrying a ball and a bat. "I AM THE GREATEST HITTER IN THE WORLD," he shouted. Then he threw up the ball in the air, swung at the ball. He MISSED the ball. "STRIKE ONE!" he yelled. He decided to try again. He picked up the ball and shouted again, "I AM THE GREATEST HITTER IN THE WORLD!" He threw the ball into the air. When the ball came down, he swung again. He MISSED! "STRIKE TWO!" he cried.
The boy stopped for a moment to look at his bat and ball very carefully. He spit on his hands and rubbed them together. He straightened his cap and said once more, "I AM THE GREATEST HITTER IN THE WORLD!" Again he threw the ball in the air and swung at it. He missed. "STRIKE THREE!" he yelled.
The boy stopped. Then he started to think.
"WOW!" the boy yelled. "I am the greatest PITCHER IN THE WORLD!!!"
what does this mean?!
WHAT DOES THIS MEAN?!!!

Do you have "rocks" in your life that need to be removed? Are you discovering that you don't have what it takes to lift them? God is always there for us and He is wants to give us the strength we need to win against obstacles and to do great things for Him. "God is our refuge and strength, an ever-present help in trouble" (Psalm 46:1)
